We are thrilled to share that on-campus suite-style housing options are available for the upcoming academic year for graduate students! Living on campus offers a unique and enriching experience, providing you with easy access to academic resources, vibrant community life, and various amenities designed to support your success.

All graduate students who will be enrolled full-time in the fall can apply to live on campus. Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis, based on application submission.

Housing applications officially open Wednesday, May 21, but you can reach out for more information today!ÌýBy confirming your interest, we will be able to provide you with the application as soon as it opens.ÌýPlease emailÌýhousing@american.eduÌýwith any questions.

Key Dates

  • Applications open: May 21 at 12:00PM
  • Rolling Assigments:ÌýMondays starting in Mid-June, as space permits
  • Housing Charges added to Eagle Service: Late June

Where will I live?

For the 2025 - 2026 academic year, we are offering housing in Duber Hall, located on East Campus.Ìý

Each floor has a central lounge space with a kitchen, lounge furniture, and television for students to study or socialize with their community. Each floor offers shared spaces for studying, socializing, and laundry. East Campus also features a market and the Don Myers Technology & Innovation Building, a hub for research and innovation. To live on campus, you won't sign a lease, but rather theÌýHousing License Agreement! The term of this agreement is for the full 2025-2026 academic year, August-May

Graduate students should expect to live with other graduate students as all rooms are double occupancy.

If you believe you needÌýa housing accommodation through theÌýAcademic Support and AccessÌýCenterÌýor Center for Diversity & Inclusion, you will indicate that on your application.ÌýOur office will work directly with each office to place you in a space that meets your approved accommodations.Ìý
