Mr. Morante is the former chair of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Washington College of Law's John Sherman Myers Society, and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council. In addition, he received the 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Washington College of Law Business Law Society. He serves on the Board of Advisors of Inter-American Dialogue's Latin American Advisor - Financial Services publication, and is a member of the Business Law Partner Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section and the former chair of its International Business Law Committee. He also serves on the Council of the ABA Business Law Section. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, The Florida Bar and the Virginia State Bar.
