University Student Awards honor graduating students and are presented in May during commencement weekend.Â
About University Awards
Each year, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ recognizes the exceptional achievements of outstanding faculty, staff, graduating students, and alumni through University Awards. There are four categories of these university-wide awards:
- University Student Awards, which honor graduating students for outstanding achievements in service, scholarship, and leadership;
- University Faculty Awards, including Scholar/Teacher of the Year and honors for teaching, scholarship, service, inclusive excellence, and community engagement;
- University Staff Awards, for meritorious staff achievement;
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Awards, the highest honors presented by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni association.
The nomination process for University Awards opens in January.
Faculty Awards
University Faculty Awards, presented at the Faculty Recognition Dinner in the Spring, honor the work of full-time and adjunct faculty.
Staff Awards
University Staff Awards promote and reward outstanding performance by staff at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
Alumni Awards
Alumni Awards are the highest honors presented by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Association.
