The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Development believes that excellence emerges when all members of the law school community are actively engaged, respected, and empowered. The office fosters an environment where everyone feels a genuine sense of belonging and is encouraged to contribute unique perspectives, experiences, and talents. Through strategic partnerships with student organizations, faculty, and staff, the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Developmentteam supports initiatives that promote inclusive practices and cultivate essential leadership skills. Programs are designed to equip students and colleagues with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to navigate complex challenges with integrity and impact. ĢƵWCL is committed to building a community where everyone can thrive, feel supported, and meaningfully contribute to the legal profession.

Discrimination and Bias Reporting

Students, staff and faculty members should report incidents of discrimination and bias to theOffice of Equity and Title IX. The Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Development (as well as all individuals employed by the university) have a duty to report such incidents to the Office of Equity and Title IX. While the Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Development may act as a liaison on bias-related matters, the Office of Equity and Title IX will conduct its own assessment of the matter.
